Got a slight unfill, feel like a million bucks!

I have had some issues with eating anything healthy lately because my band has been too tight. It started about two weeks ago The nurse and I suspect it's because of added stress with the new job. I wasn't able to eat much of anything besides sweets because they were the only thing going down without trouble.

So this morning, I called PNC and they got me in at 11:50 a.m. Nurse Candyce and PA Amy were so happy I came in and that they could help me out. They took just a little out of my band and WOW, the difference.

I can't wait to be able to eat a nice piece of chicken and veggies again. This is definitely an early birthday present for me... some band people have a fear of getting unfills because they might lose restriction.. but as everyone always told me, there is nothing more miserable that being too tight. I SECOND THAT! If you need an unfill, PLEASE don't hesitate.

I have heard some bandster stories from my sisters, so I've heard how horrible it can be when the band is too tight.  No fun!   So glad they got you in today!  Enjoy your healthier, more nutritious food!
I missed that you have a new job?  Are you at a new company or a new postition?

I am still working as a producer for channel 5, but I got an opportunity to be a reporter at the Fox station in Duluth... so I am driving up there almost every week.  Thanks for the reply :) :)

Hi Elena, I'm, SO happy for you, particularly for getting in right away.  How nasty it had to be, only being able to eat sweets, during this season of potential overkill.  You're back on the road, and on your way !   Keep it up--you'll 'rock' in your 'hooker' boots!  Hugs, Patti

Good for you Elana. I should probably do this too. I can only eat about 5 bites of solid protein in a 20 minute period before getting too full. So what am I eating that I can eat as much as I want? ICE CREAM! Yes.....I have been putting off an slight unfill just waiting for it to get better but I must admit I'm avoiding the stuff I should be eating because I am full TOO FAST. How weird.

Good Job Elena!!
It is amazing how much you miss the healthier eating when you can't do it!  I'm glad they got you in quickly and had a solution to your tightness.

You Rock!!
